Hi i have a smartthings multisensor on my garage door using this driver.
Smartsense multi garage door.
There is adhesive tape in there to help you mount the multi.
When placing hold it in place for about 20 seconds to make sure it s secure.
I realized this too late and had to remove one sensor mounted on my front door which turned out to be out of range.
The leaflet in the box states specifically.
Look closely in your smartthings box.
Also i noticed that this sensor is always reporting incorrect temperature right now it is showing 808.
There s a place in the driver where it asks do you want to use this sensor on a garage door i m not sure what to choose here.
After that it is always showing open.

So i logged into the website and updated the type to smartsense garage door multi.
After installing the relay switch in your garage and placing a smartsense multi on your garage door which senses if the door is open or close you ll be able to trigger your garage door to automatically open close when you arrive leave through two different ways.
Smartsense multi sensor v4 on a garage door.
The smart sense multi can detect whether an object like a door or drawer is open or closed sense when valuable or off limits items have been moved or tampered with offer temperature readings and feel vibration.
Be sure to clean the surface of the door cabinet or drawer before you place the multi.
Smartsense multi works best if it s within 15 feet 4 5m of the smartthings hub when you connect it.
Replacing it with a z wave based sensor as recommended by smartthings support.
Requires the smartthings hub.
